B. HENDERSON JOHNSON, JR.

B. Henderson Johnson, Jr. was born in Aiken and admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1963. He retired in January of 2009 after founding the firm in 1980.

Education:
Newberry College (B.S., 1952); University of South Carolina (LL.B., 1963). (U.S.M.C., active duty, 1946 – 1948) Phi Alpha Delta. Member, Society of Wig and Robe. Named one of the best lawyers in America by The Best Lawyers in America, Naifeh and Smith, Woodward/White, 1991-1992.

Member:
Aiken County Bar Association (President, 1984), South Carolina Bar Association; and South Carolina Association for Justice. After long involvement with Aiken County Youth Sports, Mr. Johnson was named a member of the Aiken County Sports Hall of Fame in 1989. He was named Citizen of the Year in 1969, and Man of the Year in 1998. He was an active member of Aiken First Baptist Church.

Mr. Johnson passed away on November 26, 2014.

He was married to Doris Cunningham Johnson and they have four children, Barry, Vicki, Brad and Todd.
